MUNICH – September 5, 2023 – The entire team at Blue Tree Group – Investment Banking extends a warm welcome to Dr. Robert Wagner as the new Senior Industry Sector Advisor for the areas of „Digital Commerce and Direct to Consumer.“

Robert will be supporting our Industry Team, „Consumer, Retail and Services,“ in acquiring new mid-sized clients and conducting in-depth analyses of new investment opportunities for our clients, starting from August 2023. Working alongside our Industry Sector Team, he will oversee the DACH, BENELUX, and Spain regions, acting as a point of contact for entrepreneurs. „I am committed to building upon the solid work and successful transactions achieved by the Consumer, Retail and Services Industry Sector Team over the past two years and attracting more international mid-sized clients in Europe,“ states Dr. Robert Wagner.

Robert looks back on a successful entrepreneurial and corporate career, during which he gained extensive experience in the field of digital commerce. Most recently, Robert was Managing Director of the E-Commerce & Home and Living segment at the publicly listed Social Chain AG. Here he was responsible for the consolidation & realignment of Social Chain AG’s Home & Living business before and after the IPO. Prior to that, Robert spent two years at the direct-to-consumer brand URBANARA as COO and CEO, which he also led during his time at Social Chain AG. He also worked at Rocket Internet company Home24 AG in commercial as well as operational roles.
