Situation: In an M&A transaction, Blue Tree Group was asked by Synfioo’s venture capital investors to conduct a comprehensive market sounding including a company valuation. The objective was to decide whether to pursue a received offer for sale, launch an auction or better pursue another round of capital raising. Blue Tree Group identified key potential buyers and conducted a market sounding process on an anonymous basis. This included interviews with potential buyers in addition to typical valuation procedures in order to manifest a robust valuation level in a subsequent auction process.
