When exercising such an objection, we ask that you explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of a justified objection, we will review the situation and either cease or adjust the data processing or demonstrate our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we continue the processing.

For the analyses, we combine the data referred to in Section 3 above and the web beacons with your email address and an individual ID. Links contained in the newsletter also include this ID.
Using the data obtained in this manner, we create a user profile in order to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In doing so, we record when you read our newsletters, which links you click on, and derive your personal interests from this information. We link this data to actions you perform on our website.
You may object to this tracking at any time by clicking the separate link provided in every email or by informing us through another contact channel. We use the SendGrid service for the distribution of newsletters. The provider is Twilio Inc., 375 Beale Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94105. SendGrid is a service that can be used, among other things, to organise and analyse the sending of emails and newsletters. If you provide data such as an email address, it is stored on SendGrid servers in the USA.
SendGrid is certified under the “EU-US Privacy Shield”. The “Privacy Shield” is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the United States designed to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.

Use of Google Analytics
(1)
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide further services related to website and internet usage to the website operator.
(2)
The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
(3)
You may prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You may also prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
(4)
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. As a result, IP addresses are processed in truncated form, thereby excluding the possibility of direct personal identification. To the extent that the data collected about you can be attributed to a person, such attribution is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted without delay.
(5)
We use Google Analytics in order to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and make it more interesting for users. For exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield:
https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.
(6)
Sessions and campaigns are terminated after a specified period of time. By default, sessions end after 30 minutes of inactivity and campaigns after six months. The time limit for campaigns may be up to two years.

Integration of Google Fonts
(1)
This website uses Google Fonts. This enables us to display attractive fonts on the website and allows for convenient use and improved usability of the website. This is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the optimisation and economic operation of our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
(2)
By visiting the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data referred to in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no such user account exists.
If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish such assignment to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the relevant function.
Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses it for advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of its website. 10. Use and Application of LinkedIn
(1) LinkedIn Insight Tag
We have integrated components of LinkedIn Corporation on this website.
The operating company of LinkedIn is:
LinkedIn Corporation
2029 Stierlin Court
Mountain View, CA 94043
USA
For data protection matters outside the USA, the responsible entity is:
LinkedIn Ireland
Privacy Policy Issues
Wilton Plaza
Wilton Place
Dublin 2
Ireland
The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a small JavaScript code snippet that we have added to our website.
The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of data relating to visits to our website, including URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics, timestamps, and page views. This data is encrypted, anonymised within seven days, and the anonymised data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not generally share personal data with us but only provides aggregated reports on website audiences and advertising performance.
Further information regarding LinkedIn plug-ins can be found at:
https://developer.linkedin.com/plugins
Within the scope of this technical procedure, LinkedIn obtains knowledge of which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.
If you are logged into LinkedIn at the same time or at a later point in time, LinkedIn recognises with every visit to our website and throughout the duration of your stay which specific subpage of our website you visit. This information is collected through the LinkedIn component and assigned by LinkedIn to your respective LinkedIn account.
If you activate a LinkedIn button integrated on our website, LinkedIn associates this information with your personal LinkedIn user account and stores this personal data.
LinkedIn generally receives information that you have visited our website whenever you are logged into LinkedIn at the time of accessing our website or log in at a later point in time; this occurs regardless of whether you click on the LinkedIn component or not.
We process personal data for the purposes of online marketing, including in particular the marketing of advertising space or the presentation of advertising and other content (collectively referred to as “Content”) based on users’ potential interests and the measurement of its effectiveness (conversion measurement).
For these purposes, user profiles are created and stored in a file (“Cookie”) or similar technical procedures are used by means of which information relevant to the display of the aforementioned Content is stored regarding the user.
Such information may include, for example, content viewed, websites visited, online networks used, communication partners, and technical information such as the browser used, the computer system used, and information concerning usage times. If you have consented to the collection of your location data, such data may also be processed.
As a general rule, no directly identifiable user data (such as email addresses or names) is stored within the framework of online marketing procedures; instead, pseudonyms are used. This means that neither we nor LinkedIn know the actual identity of users, but only the information stored in their profiles.
The information in the profiles is generally stored in cookies or by similar means. These cookies may subsequently also be read on other websites that use the same LinkedIn online marketing procedure, analysed for the purpose of displaying content, supplemented with additional data, and stored on LinkedIn servers.
In exceptional cases, directly identifiable data may be assigned to profiles. This is the case, for example, if you are a LinkedIn member whose online marketing procedures we use and LinkedIn links user profiles with the aforementioned information. Please note that through the privacy settings of your LinkedIn account you may enter into various agreements with LinkedIn regarding data collection and processing, for example by providing consent during registration.
We generally receive access only to aggregated information regarding the success of our advertisements. However, within the scope of so-called conversion measurement, we can examine which of our online marketing procedures have led to a conversion, i.e. for example to the conclusion of a contract with us. Conversion measurement is used solely for measuring the success of our advertising activities.
Unless otherwise stated, please assume that cookies used are stored for a period of two years.
Where we request your consent for the use of LinkedIn services, the legal basis for the processing of data is your consent. Otherwise, user data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. an interest in efficient, economical, and user-friendly services). In this context, we also refer to the information regarding the use of cookies.

(2) Lead Generation via LinkedIn / Consent to Data Transfer
We use the LinkedIn platform to promote our services and websites.
If you click on one of our advertisements on LinkedIn, we may receive data from LinkedIn that is necessary for processing your enquiry.
If you submit a contact form to us via LinkedIn, your personal data, company data, contact data (such as email address and telephone number), usage data, metadata and communication data, and the URL of your LinkedIn profile, as well as the information referred to in Section 3 above, may be included on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract and pre-contractual enquiries, as well as our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure means of promotional communication, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

- Legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO)
(3) LinkedIn Single Sign-On Login
We offer the use of LinkedIn Single Sign-On login on our websites.
“Single Sign-On” refers to procedures that allow you to log in to our online offering using a user account with LinkedIn via a Single Sign-On process. A prerequisite for Single Sign-On authentication is that users are registered with LinkedIn and either enter the required login credentials into the designated online form or are already logged in with the Single Sign-On provider and confirm the Single Sign-On login via the corresponding button.
Authentication takes place directly through LinkedIn. As part of such authentication, we receive a user ID together with the information that the user is logged in to LinkedIn under this user ID and an ID that cannot be used by us for any other purposes (so-called “User Handle”).
Whether and which additional data is transmitted depends on the data sharing settings selected during authentication and on which data you have released in the privacy settings or other settings of your LinkedIn user account.
Depending on the choices made by the user, different data may be transmitted; typically this includes the email address and user name. The password entered as part of the Single Sign-On process with LinkedIn is neither visible to us nor stored by us.
Please note that the information stored by us may automatically be synchronised with your LinkedIn user account; however, this is not always possible and does not necessarily occur in every case. For example, if your email address changes, you must manually update it in your user account with us.
We may use the Single Sign-On login where agreed, within the framework of or prior to the performance of a contract, where requested by you, where processed on the basis of consent, and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interests and the interests of users in an effective and secure login system.
Should users decide at any time that they no longer wish to use the connection between their LinkedIn account and our services for the Single Sign-On procedure, they must remove this connection within their LinkedIn user account. If you wish to delete your data stored by us, you must terminate your registration with us.
Categories of data processed:
- Master data (e.g. names, addresses)

Data subjects concerned:

Purposes of processing:
